This make-up remover easily breaks down the face and eye make-up. It’s incredibly gentle, unscented, vegan, all-natural, and organic.

Coconut oil and shea butter both have natural detergent properties. They’re able to break apart the make-up on your skin while still being super moisturizing. Coconut oil is a natural anti-bacterial, but it can also be comedogenic (pore-clogging) so make sure to use your facial cleanser after using this product. Shea butter helps with skin redness and any inflammation, so it’s great for helping with dry patches.

Sweet almond oil contains vitamin A, vitamin E, and Omega 3 fatty acids. These work to help stimulate the growth of new skin cells, prevent UV damage and stop premature aging. It also contains zinc, which is great for healing acne scarring and eczema.

They add a small amount of arrowroot powder to absorb some of that greasy, oily texture. That way taking off your make-up can feel as luxurious as it should.

To use, start with an almond-sized amount. Warm it up between your fingers and then start to massage it into your skin. Work gently and slowly around the eyes, and use downward strokes when removing mascara from the eyelashes. Use warm water and a microfiber (or any towel soft enough for facial use) to wipe away the make-up and oil. Follow up with your usual facial cleanser to ensure that the coconut oil doesn’t clog any pores.

Wait 24 hours to make sure that your body doesn’t have a reaction to any of the ingredients. The ingredients used in this recipe are raw, natural, and organic. This means that the product’s shelf life might be shorter than what you’re used to. To ensure it reaches its expiration date, keep your product out of direct sunlight and at (or below) room temperature. Always be sure to completely close the jar or tin after use and keep the product dry.
